About King Hu Foundation USA
- Founded in July 1997, King Hu Foundation USA is the only certified non-profit organization named after the renowned director King Hu, also known as Hu, Jinchuan.
- The Foundation is dedicated to preserving the legacy of King Hu. Filmmakers and martial arts enthusiasts widely acknowledge Director Hu's transformative contributions to the action genre and cinematic history. In addition, we have been providing the licensing rights of the film, "The Valiant Ones," which we have been granting to a plethora of academic institutions and non-profit organizations around the world for screening.
- Pei Pei Cheng, a pioneer of martial arts roles for female actors was committed to promoting director Hu’s achievements, through the joint efforts of the Board of Directors and Founders.
- 美國胡金銓基金會成立於1997年7月是美國唯一以胡金銓導演命名經州政府立案的非營利機構. 多年來, 本會的工作使命及重心, 主要在於保護胡金銓導演的文物遺產，並經由不同的方式讓電影工作者及武俠片愛好者認識到胡導演在古裝動作片電影類型及電影史上所做的貢獻。
- 其次, 本會的工作重點則是以授權電影《忠烈圖》至各類學術活動、非營利機構或世界各地影展作為受邀放映影片.
- 本會由亞洲著名影星鄭佩佩女士創立並擔任會長, 經過董事會與志願者成員的共同努力, 始終堅持致力推廣並宣揚胡金銓導演在文學, 藝術與電影領域的多項成就.

Preserving King Hu's Cinematic and Artistic Legacy: Foundation Secures Copyright and Production Rights
- King Hu Foundation USA holds the copyright to all the original artwork and writings during his time in the US. These valuable works are currently preserved in the Taiwan Film and Audiovisual Institue.
- In addition, the Foundation successfully obtained the production rights to the "Battle of Ono" (Igo Ono), a film that director Hu unfortunately never had the opportunity to direct. These rights were secured from the original production company by the Foundation in November 2018.
